Initially, the "Nirvati" name did not have a specific meaning, but in our context, we like to think that “Nirvati OS” combines “nirvana”, symbolizing peace and liberation, with the Latin “ti”, meaning “this”. Together, they represent a focused, liberating OS experience. That’s how we started to think about what could be our logo.

What's often called open-source isn’t always FOSS, misleading many. We believe in privacy and security as self-sovereignty norms, with no “*” somewhere. Liberty in mind, the Nirvati OS-based ecosystem has been designed to avoid anxiety while helping you surmount potential obstacles with ease. As a companion, the symbol of a balloon.
